A PROGRAM TO HELP VICTIMS OF VIOLENT CRIME FIND EMPLOYMENT STARTS AT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE

Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced a new program aimed at reducing the harmful long-term effects of violence in communities. The program will provide financial assistance and employment resources to violent crime victims. This is an essential step in addressing the root causes of violence and ensuring that survivors have the opportunity to rebuild their lives. In addition to providing immediate financial assistance, the program will also connect participants with job training and placement resources. This will help them obtain sustainable employment and create a foundation for a brighter future.
